The Whistler Learning Centre, Vancouver Community College, BCIT and Ts’zil Learning Centre are partnering to measure demand for delivery of a local ITA Professional Cook Program.There are 2 surveys as part of this research, one for prospective students of the program, and one for local employers of Cooks:
- If you are an EMPLOYER OF COOKS who work in the food industry in the Sea to Sky region please complete this survey.

Why look at local delivery of the program?
There are a shortage of cooks in the Sea to Sky region and the existing training is currently only offered in the lower mainland which adds the expense of travel, accommodation, and missed work for local residents.

What is the ITA Professional Cook Program?
The ITA Professional Cook Program prepares learners for employment in the food industry by providing an authentic learning experience in industry kitchens to develop their culinary knowledge, skills, and professionalism.
